Lissat

Jens Lissat produces electronic music from Germany, where he was born in Pinneberg in 1964. He began DJing in Hamburg's disco club scene in 1980, then relocated to Krefeld in 1987 to focus on remixing and producing music tracks. Lissat started releasing records in 1987 and achieved his first chart hit in 1989 through a collaborative project. He operates under several aliases including Sat 1, La Delphine, and Jerl, and has maintained an active production schedule since his debut, with releases spanning from 2011 through 2025 on the Electrobuzz platform.

Lissat's current output centers on house music variations, covering house, tech house, deep house, and funky house territories. His 16 releases demonstrate consistent activity in the underground electronic scene, with his most recent material appearing on Top Tracks of 2025. His sound draws from decades of experience in German electronic music, transitioning from his early techno scene involvement in the late 1980s to contemporary house production.
