Little Boots

Little Boots is Victoria Christina Hesketh, a British producer and vocalist from Blackpool who began her electronic music career in 2013 with releases on Exploited Records. Born in 1984, she previously performed in Dead Disco before launching her solo project that combines her background in electropop with house music production. Hesketh plays piano, keyboards, synthesizer, Stylophone and the Japanese Tenori-on, bringing a soprano vocal range to her electronic compositions.

Her sound spans deep house, nu disco, Afro house and jackin house, with releases appearing on Exploited and Future Disco labels since 2013. The tracks blend her Italo-influenced melodic sensibilities with house rhythms, creating vocal-driven productions that work across both listening and dancefloor contexts. Her 12 releases demonstrate a progression from disco-leaning house into deeper, more percussive territory including Afro house elements, maintaining consistent melodic sophistication while adapting to contemporary club sounds.
