Lukas Greenberg

Lukas Greenberg, real name Nikolas Jakoby, was a German DJ and producer based in Berlin who began his electronic music career after starting as a Hip Hop DJ in the early 1990s. He performed at notable Berlin venues including Tresor, 90Grad and KitCat before transitioning into house music production. Greenberg released music under several aliases including Pj Nfx and Greenster, with his first electronic release appearing in January 2010. He passed away in August 2016.

Greenberg's sound focused on deep house, house, and tech house across six releases on the Plastic City and Plastic City Play labels. His productions maintained the deeper, more atmospheric end of the house spectrum rather than peak-time energy, fitting the sophisticated aesthetic of the Plastic City catalog. The label association positioned his work within Germany's established house music scene, with releases spanning from 2010 through a posthumous release scheduled for October 2025. His sound evolved from his hip-hop DJ background into the groove-focused, Berlin-influenced house music that characterized his electronic output.
