Lurka is the alias of Bristol-based techno producer Ben Tregaskes, who began releasing music in 2019. He runs the Fringe White label and has established himself within Bristol's electronic music scene over the past six years.
His sound spans house, bass, peak-time techno, leftfield house and techno, plus breaks and UK bass genres. Lurka releases primarily on Wisdom Teeth and Timedance, two labels known for forward-thinking electronic music. His tracks typically operate in driving, peak-time territory while incorporating bass-heavy elements and breakbeat influences that reflect Bristol's diverse electronic heritage.
