Maara-Louisa Dunbar operates from Montreal, Canada, releasing electronic music under the moniker Maara since 2022. She previously produced experimental beats and hip-hop under the alias Massie Dome before transitioning to club-focused electronic music. Her debut release appeared on Kalahari Oyster Cult in September 2022, marking the start of an exclusive relationship with the South African label.

Maara crafts raw, hypnotic techno and trance that moves between deep, contemplative passages and driving club tracks.
