Makam

Makam is the production alias of Dutch house producer Guy Blanken, who began releasing music in March 2010. Based in Holland, Blanken also operates under the aliases Terry Hengers and Talismann, and works with collaborator Mizsei Zoltán. His discography spans 16 releases, with material appearing on labels including Dekmantel and Sushitech.

Makam's sound encompasses peak-time driving techno, house, deep house, and tech house, with releases scheduled through February 2026. His productions lean toward the dancefloor-focused end of the house spectrum, delivering the energy levels and tempo ranges suitable for club environments. The Dekmantel association positions his work within that label's reputation for quality electronic music releases, while his earlier connection to Sushitech demonstrates his established presence in the underground house scene.
