Makebo

Makebo is the electronic project of Moscow-based producer Maxim Butylev, who began releasing music in 2019. Butylev operates under several aliases including S.K.A.M. and Swoy, and founded the Rubicunda label. The project has released 15 tracks across various labels since its inception.

Makebo produces organic house and downtempo music, with releases appearing on labels including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Shanti Radio, and his own Rubicunda imprint. The sound combines deep house elements with organic textures, positioning the project within the melodic house spectrum that appeals to both home listening and dancefloor environments. Recent releases have maintained this organic house approach while expanding into deeper, more atmospheric territory suitable for extended DJ sets.
