Man With No Name

Man With No Name is British producer Martin Freeland, who began producing techno in the late 1980s before becoming heavily influenced by the early 1990s Goa trance scene. Freeland achieved a top 75 UK hit with "Floor-Essence" and released the album "Moment Of Truth" in 1996. He has also operated under the aliases Pozitiv Noize and Yogi & Grey One, and has completed remix work for artists including Virus, Perfecto Allstarz, BT, and Dreadzone. A second album was released in 1998 on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label.

Recent releases spanning 2025 show Freeland exploring drum & bass, Afro house, bass house, electronica, and melodic house & techno across five releases. This represents a significant stylistic evolution from his established psytrance and Goa trance background, demonstrating his adaptation to contemporary electronic music trends while maintaining his production expertise developed over decades in the scene.
