Man With No Shadow

Man With No Shadow is the production alias of Dutch artist Ruben de Groot, who began releasing electronic music in 2013. Based in the Netherlands, de Groot established himself as a DJ before transitioning into production work, with his breakthrough coming through the "Drumfeld EP" released on 100% Pure. He has maintained a steady output across multiple labels including OFF Recordings, Alive recordings, Misfit Music, and Kuukou Records.

His sound spans techno and house territories, moving between peak time driving techno, raw hypnotic techno, tech house, and deep house. The productions lean toward what he describes as a "positive take on techno," delivering high-energy tracks suitable for peak hours alongside deeper, more hypnotic material. His releases on labels like 100% Pure and OFF Recordings showcase driving basslines and club-focused arrangements, while his catalog demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges from deep house grooves to harder techno rhythms.
