Marbert Rocel

Marbert Rocel is a three-piece group from Leipzig, Germany, founded in 2004 by Marcel Aue, Robert Panthera Krause, and Antje Seifarth. The group began releasing music through Compost Records in 2010, maintaining a consistent relationship with the German label throughout their active period.

The trio produces deep house that incorporates jazz and electro elements, creating material that spans across electronica and house territories. Their releases on Compost Records between 2010 and 2017 demonstrate a sound that blends electronic production with organic instrumental textures. Marbert Rocel's approach combines the rhythmic foundation of house music with the improvisational spirit of jazz, resulting in tracks that work for both listening and club environments.
