Marc Cotterell

Marc Cotterell is a British-born DJ and producer who relocated to the United States in 2006. He operates as the founder and owner of multiple labels including Plastik People Recordings, Rhythm N Vibe Recordings, and Rhythm Vibe Records. With a career spanning over three decades in electronic music production, Cotterell began releasing on Electrobuzz-tracked platforms in November 2015 and maintains an active release schedule through 2026.

Cotterell produces across deep house, jackin house, UK garage, and nu disco territories, with 39 releases distributed through labels including Plastik People Digital, Groove Culture, Outdom Records, Gents & Dandy's, and Esuoh. His sound centers on garage house and jackin house productions that draw from underground house traditions while incorporating UK garage and bassline elements. Through his label operations, Cotterell releases both vinyl and digital formats, positioning his output within the modern underground house scene while supporting both emerging and established artists in the garage and jackin house movements.
