Marc Houle

Marc Houle is a Canadian minimal techno producer and live performer from Windsor, Ontario, now based in Berlin, Germany. Born in 1972, he co-founded the Items & Things label and has released music under the alias Rosaire Argyle. Since his first documented release in 2010, Houle has built a catalog of 38 releases across major electronic music labels including his own Items & Things imprint, Octopus Records, dirtybird, Innervisions, and the legendary Detroit label KMS Records.

Houle's sound spans minimal techno and tech house territories, delivering peak time driving techno alongside more downtempo electronica explorations. His releases on Innervisions showcase his ability to craft hypnotic minimal arrangements, while his dirtybird output leans into tech house grooves with characteristic funk elements. The KMS Records connection links him directly to Detroit's techno heritage, and his Items & Things releases demonstrate his vision as both artist and label curator.
