Marconi Union

Marconi Union is a UK electronic group formed in 2002 when Richard Talbot and Jamie Crossley met while working in a Manchester record shop. The duo operated as a pair until 2010, when they announced that Duncan Meadows, their live keyboardist, had joined as a permanent member, making Marconi Union a three-piece outfit.

The group produces ambient and downtempo electronic music with post-rock influences, incorporating elements of minimal techno across their compositions. Their work spans electronica and organic house territories, with releases appearing on Curation Best Of 2025. Marconi Union's sound operates at lower tempos typical of downtempo and ambient genres, creating atmospheric pieces that blend electronic production with organic textures. Their catalog includes both ambient explorations and more structured electronica tracks, with releases documented from 2010 through 2026.
