Margot

Margot is an Italian DJ and producer duo consisting of Stefano Serafini and Daniel Valanti, active since 2005. The pair founded their own imprint Margot Records and began releasing music in 2010, with their first official release appearing in October of that year. Over their career, they have released 10 tracks across notable underground labels including Hivern Discs, Life And Death, and Candy Flip, with their most recent output surfacing in April 2024.

Their sound spans multiple electronic genres, moving between nu disco, indie dance, and techno with peak-time driving energy. Margot's productions also incorporate tech house elements and electronica influences, creating tracks suitable for both intimate club settings and larger dancefloors. Their releases on John Talabot's Hivern Discs and the respected Life And Death imprint demonstrate their ability to craft both melodic disco-influenced material and harder techno tracks, making them versatile additions to DJ sets across different electronic music contexts.
