Maribou State
🇬🇧About
Maribou State is an electronic music duo from the UK consisting of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, formed in 2011. The London-based pair began releasing music in 2015, with their first release appearing on March 26, 2015, and have maintained consistent output through 2025.
The duo produces electronica and deep house tracks that span downtempo and house territories, releasing across respected labels including Counter Records, Anjunadeep, Last Night On Earth, and Ninja Tune. Their sound operates within leftfield electronic parameters, blending deeper house rhythms with downtempo sensibilities that sit comfortably in both club and listening contexts. With 10 releases documented since 2015, Maribou State has established themselves within the electronica and deep house scenes through their multi-label approach and genre-fluid productions.
