Mario Aureo

Mario Aureo was born in 1985 in Hannover, Germany, and began DJing at age 16. Since 2006, he has produced electronic music alongside his collaborator Daniel Solar, with their first track appearing on Sportclub in March 2007. Aureo's solo career launched in 2012 with his debut release on Ritter Butzke Studio, followed by subsequent releases on Musik Gewinnt Freunde through 2016.

Aureo operates within the deep house and tech house spectrum, delivering seven releases across his documented catalog. His productions lean toward the deeper, more atmospheric side of house music, with releases on Ritter Butzke Studio showcasing his connection to Berlin's underground scene. The Musik Gewinnt Freunde imprint has also served as a platform for his tech house explorations, demonstrating his ability to navigate both the meditative qualities of deep house and the driving rhythms of tech house.
