Mark Ambrose

Mark Ambrose is a UK-based DJ and producer who operates under multiple aliases including Skymaster and Dr. Proctor. He founded the Crayon label and began releasing electronic music in 2013, with his first documented release appearing in June of that year. Ambrose has maintained consistent output over more than a decade, with releases spanning from 2013 through 2025.

His production work covers techno and house territories, ranging from peak time driving techno to raw deep hypnotic variations, alongside tech house, deep house, and straight house releases. Ambrose releases music primarily through Murge Recordings and Vessel Records, with five documented releases across these labels. His sound encompasses both the harder-edged peak time techno suitable for main room moments and deeper, more hypnotic techno textures designed for extended sets, making his catalog accessible to DJs working different parts of the night.
