Markus Horn

Markus Horn is a German electronic music producer from Schwalmstadt who began releasing electronic music in 2014. Born in 1972, Horn originally established himself as a jazz pianist before transitioning into electronic music production, bringing his musical background into the minimal and tech house spheres.

Horn produces minimal/deep tech and tech house tracks that draw from his jazz piano foundation. Between 2014 and 2015, he released six tracks across these genres, focusing on groove-oriented productions that blend minimal techno elements with deeper, more atmospheric textures. His electronic work represents a departure from his acoustic jazz background, exploring the rhythmic and textural possibilities of electronic music production within the minimal and tech house frameworks.
