About

Martin Landsky is a German DJ and producer originally from Hamburg who relocated to Berlin. He began his career as a DJ before releasing his first record in 1997 under the alias City-Nord on London's Mc Projects label. In 1998, he founded Effortil Records, which he renamed to Intim Recordings the following year. Landsky has been a regular performer at Berlin clubs including Pfefferbank, Tresor, and Casino, and was part of the "Poker Flat Nights" series alongside Steve Bug and DJ Clé at Sternradio.

Landsky produces tech house and deep house with occasional forays into peak time techno, creating tracks that range from deep, minimal grooves to driving club material. His releases appear on respected labels including Poker Flat Recordings, Upon. You Records, Re:Fresh Your Mind, Rejected, and Still Hot. With over 30 releases since 2009, his sound encompasses both the deeper, more contemplative side of house music and harder-edged tech house designed for peak-time dancefloor moments. His music maintains the sophisticated production values associated with Berlin's electronic scene while delivering the rhythmic complexity that defines contemporary tech house.
