Masters At Work

Masters At Work is a house production duo from New York comprising "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez, who began working together in 1990. The group was named by their mutual friend Todd Terry, who had previously recorded tracks under the Masters At Work moniker in the late 1980s. The duo operates under several aliases including Nuyorican Soul, KenLou, and Sole Fusion, and launched their own imprint MAW Records in 1995 with former manager Steve Rosen.

Masters At Work produces house music spanning deep house, jackin house, tech house, and afro house territories. Their releases appear on MAW Records, BBE Music, and Top Tracks of 2025, with their discography on Electrobuzz dating from June 2022 to December 2025 across 55 releases. The duo's sound encompasses the full spectrum of house tempos and energies, from deep and soulful productions to more driving tech house arrangements, with their afro house releases incorporating Latin and African rhythmic elements that reflect their New York roots and cultural backgrounds.
