Matasism
About
Matasism is the project of Italian-American producer Ernesto Giusti, who began releasing music in March 2016. He founded his own vinyl label Mätäsism in 2017, serving as both artist and label head. Over his career, Giusti has released 17 tracks across multiple respected imprints in the underground electronic scene.
His sound spans raw and hypnotic techno through to peak time driving tracks, with releases appearing on labels including bpitch, Micro.Fon, EMERALD, and SCI+TEC alongside his own imprint. Matasism's productions range from classic Detroit-influenced electro to modern indie dance, demonstrating versatility across tempo ranges while maintaining the driving energy characteristic of contemporary techno. His discography shows consistent output from 2016 through to planned releases extending into 2026, establishing him as a prolific presence in the underground electronic music circuit.
