Mathimidori

Mathimidori is the alias of German DJ and producer Mathias Kaden, who began releasing music under this moniker in 2019. The project emerged following Kaden's transformative experience during his first Japan tour in 2008, when he stayed in the mountains of the Japanese town Kawaba. Since launching the Mathimidori project, he has released seven tracks across labels including Echocord, Ornaments, and SCI+TEC.

Mathimidori's sound spans raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak-time driving variants, with releases also exploring dub techno and broader electronica territories. His productions on Echocord lean toward the deeper, more atmospheric end of the spectrum, while his SCI+TEC releases deliver the harder-edged material suitable for peak-time sets. The project maintains consistent output, with releases spanning from March 2019 through August 2025, demonstrating Kaden's commitment to developing this distinct artistic identity separate from his established career.
