Matt Heize Artist Bio

In 1994, he bought his first turntables and began to spin a wide range of Acid House / Detroit Techno / Techno in local parties and clubs! Born in a Metallurgy industry city along the River Meuse : Liege, a strong leader on the Belgian french electronic music scene, Xentrix is a pure Music and People lover. His first and very early residency in Legendary Montini Rave Zone Club at the age of 19 proved straight away what Eric’s future was gonna be : dancefloor killer ! Soulfull, uplifting and athmospheric techno sets of his ! No one can stay still !

A year after he starts producing music along with Jean-Louis Kollash sharing his knowledge of sampling and midi technics…and Minimalistix, Antwerpen based label offers them their first record release in 1997. Now unstoppable, Reload , News, Pornographic, Bipolar (Detroit) are to name a few labels where he delivered some quality tracks as « Branonvitka » on Reload records.

o Working at Audiopolis Records store further helps create his broad Vinyl collection with pure gems of the 90ties, a unique and amazing compilation. This guy knows what a good track is for each and every audience he has performs for. He feels the crowd needs and expectations and thrill the buzz up like only a few can.

In 2001 he joins the Fabulous & Festivibe Team and the Katsu club. There he shares the decks with some of the major international artists as Adam Beyer, Claude Young, Ben Long, Steve Stoll, Percy-X, Aril Bricka, Jay Denham, Suburban Knight, Jamie Anderson, Funk D’Void to only name a few.

International performances include : Cz Rep – Portugal-Austria-Germany -Holland-France-Spain…
He focuses on Groovy Techno on Kroma Recordings , his own first label. During his collaboration with Ludwig Buez they gave birth to some unique tracks as : various artists 01 ! Applaus from Dave Clark, M. Bailey, Tonio , Ben long, Daz saund, Darren price!

In 2004 he finally reaches a t as he rocks the I Love Techno Cocoon stage along with Sven Väth, Joris Voorn, Steve Rachmad, Alter Ego, Jacek Sienkiewicz.. As the market gets overloaded with monotone loopy techno he decides to explore some new horizons where he begins to express his strong personnlaity and sense of balancing beats and melodies into some solid ass shakers tracks. Deep Techno and High Tech House, these are his new weapons to get people dance.

Sculpure records, KMB, Push It, Recode musik,are some of the latest labels to sign his new musical approach under the moniker MATT HEIZE. His last baby is called Ion Music created in 2011, a collaboration with Mozaic ( Resopal Fr.), subdivision of sculpture records focusing on the deep and minimalist side of techno! Ion receives very good return , their first releases almost reached Stompy top 10 with the track Higher state and Spy remix from Mozaic(resopal). And again applaus from Philip Bader, Justin Harris, Marco Fender, Cactus Twisters, Luciano , Tom Dazing, Smos !
