Matt Tolfrey

Matthew Tolfrey was a British DJ and producer from the Isle of Wight who founded Leftroom Records. Born in 1980, he was based in London and began releasing electronic music in 2010, establishing himself through his own imprint while building connections across the UK house scene.

Tolfrey's sound centered on tech house and deep house, with releases spanning Leftroom Records, Hot Creations, Desert Hearts Records, MFF (Music For Freaks), and No.19 Music. His productions typically moved between deeper, minimal territories and more driving tech house grooves, appealing to both peak-time and after-hours DJs.
