Matter

Matter is an Italian duo comprising Fabrizio Matrone and Fk Drone that began in 2001 as a post-industrial and techno project. Matrone also releases music under the aliases Fm Chloroform and Heidseck. The group made their electronic music debut on Meanwhile in April 2018 and has since released 21 tracks across multiple labels.

Matter produces progressive house and house music that appears on labels including Meanwhile, Proton Music, Particles, Balance Music, and Open Records. Their sound represents a shift from their earlier post-industrial and techno origins toward festival-ready progressive house tracks. The duo's releases span from 2018 to present, with their music categorized as Festival Essentials, indicating high-energy tracks suitable for main stage performances.
