Mattias Fridell

Mattias Fridell is a Swedish techno producer who began releasing music in 2013. Born in the early 1980s, he operates Mattias Fridell Mastering studio and has built a catalog of 63 releases across multiple projects over his decade-plus career.

Fridell produces peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, with occasional ventures into house, breakbeat, and dub techno. His mechanically and synthetically driven sound structures appear on labels including Lømsk, Gynoid Audio, Lateral Fragments, H-Productions, and Symbolism. His techno output ranges from driving peak time tracks suitable for main room sets to deeper, more hypnotic material designed for extended mixing, with his sound maintaining consistent synthetic textures across different tempos and moods.
