Mauro Picotto is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ born December 25, 1966, in Cavour. He developed his career within Media Records and Media Studio during the early 1990s before establishing himself as a solo artist in the late 1990s with tracks like "Lizard," "Komodo (Save a Soul)," "Pulsar," and "Iguana." Since the early 2000s, Picotto has operated his own recording studios after departing from Media Studio. He has released music under aliases including R.A.F. By Picotto, Megamind, and MP8.

Picotto's sound spans techno, trance, tech house, and house music, with his releases appearing on labels including Armada Music, Alchemy, and FSOE Clandestine.
