Maxim, real name Maxim Richarz, is a German electronic music producer who began releasing music in 2014. He operates from the Rootdown camp and has maintained consistent output across the underground electronic scene for over a decade, with his most recent release scheduled for March 2025.

Maxim produces tech house and deep house tracks, occasionally venturing into funky house territory. His releases appear on labels including Neptuun City, Time Has Changed Records, Roush Label, Safe Underground, and PornoStar Records. His sound centers on groove-driven house music with deep basslines and crisp percussion, delivering tracks that work equally well in peak-time and warm-up sets. Over his seven-release catalog, Maxim has developed a reputation for crafting dancefloor-focused house music that maintains underground credibility while remaining accessible to club audiences.
