Maya Jane Coles

Maya Jane Coles is a London-born producer, audio engineer and DJ of British and Japanese descent who began releasing music in 2009. She operates under multiple aliases, including Nocturnal Sunshine for dubstep productions and CAYAM, while also participating in the electronic dub duo She Is Danger with Lena Cullen. Coles runs her own I/AM/ME imprint, which has become a primary outlet for her releases alongside BMG Rights Management.

Her productions span deep house, tech house, and peak time driving techno, with additional forays into electronica and downtempo territory. Coles releases consistently on I/AM/ME, Skint Records, and Kneaded Pains, building a catalog of 55 releases since her 2009 debut. Her deep house work maintains the genre's characteristic groove and warmth, while her techno productions deliver the driving energy that peak time slots demand.
