Mehmet Aslan is a Swiss-born producer of Turkish descent who started his career with a residency at Hinterhof in Basel before relocating to Berlin. He operates under his real name Mehmet Arslan and has built his reputation by reappropriating Turkish folkloric music through contemporary 4/4 productions. His work has caught the attention of Tim Sweeney and Acid Arab, while UK label Huntleys + Palmers signed his first compositions.

Aslan produces across indie dance, Afro house, and deep house territories, with his Turkish party anthems functioning as both edits and remixes that blend ancestral musical elements with modern electronic frameworks.
