Mekas is the project of Juan Rosello, a producer and DJ based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He launched his career in 2012 and operates under the alias Juan Tomás Roselló for select releases. Rosello founded Chaosmos Records, serving as both label head and primary artist for the imprint.
His sound spans peak time driving techno, minimal deep tech, tech house, and electronica downtempo across his eight-release catalog from 2012 to 2019. Mekas releases material on Att series, Aula Magna Records, and Insurgentes, delivering productions that range from dancefloor-focused techno to more experimental electronic compositions.
