Mendo

David Mendo Ortega, known professionally as Mendo, is a Swiss DJ and producer born in 1976 who has been releasing electronic music since 2009. Based in Genève, he founded Clarisse Records and has also released music under the aliases Dollby and David Ortega. Over his career spanning more than a decade, Mendo has accumulated 68 releases across various labels in the electronic music scene.

Mendo produces tech house, house, deep house, and minimal deep tech, releasing his music on labels including his own Clarisse Records, Incorrect, ElRow Music, Toolroom Trax, and Deeperfect Records. His sound spans the house music spectrum from deeper, minimal arrangements to more driving tech house productions suitable for peak-time DJ sets. His consistent output from 2009 through 2023 demonstrates his versatility across different subgenres within the house music framework, making his catalog accessible to DJs working across various points in a night's programming.
