Michael Ashford

Michael Ashford is a Shropshire based musician currently residing in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury. From his youthful days of punk bands to his current fascination with improvised minimalism he has taken influence from most musical forms, discarding nothing and embracing everything along the way.

His musical style is very low key cinematic, shying away from sequenced based recording in favour of real musical expression on guitar and piano creating interesting sonic textures with strong melodic forms.
