Miči

Paolo Micioni, performing as Miči, is an Italian DJ and producer from Foligno, Perugia, born March 3, 1956. He began DJing at age 20 on the Adriatic coast and in 1977 replaced Claudio Casalini at Easy Going, a club in Rome, where he caught the attention of Giancarlo Meo and Claudio Simonetti. In 1978, he was invited to form the band Easy Going, known for their hit "Baby I Love You," and later formed Traks in 1982. Micioni is recognized as one of the founders of the Italo-Disco genre and has operated under the alias Trilogy.

His current releases span Afro House, Deep House, Melodic House & Techno, and Indie Dance, appearing exclusively on Madorasindahouse Records. His sound incorporates elements of Afro Soul and Afro Tech, with his seven releases between July 2025 and March 2026 demonstrating his evolution from his Italo-Disco roots into contemporary house music. The productions blend traditional house structures with African-influenced rhythms and melodic techno elements, reflecting both his decades of experience and adaptation to modern electronic music trends.
