Mike Spirit

Mike Spirit is the artist name of Russian DJ and producer Mikhail Cherskiy, who operates from Moscow and founded Highway Records. He began releasing music in December 2018 and has maintained consistent output through 2021, with seven releases documented across his catalog. As the founder of Highway Records, he controls his own musical output while also releasing material on established labels.

His sound spans deep house, tech house, indie dance, and nu disco territories, with releases appearing on both his own Highway Records imprint and Barcelona-based Sincopat. Mike Spirit's productions blend the groove-focused elements of deep house with the more driving characteristics of tech house, while incorporating indie dance sensibilities that appeal to both underground club environments and more eclectic dance floors. His work on Sincopat, a label known for sophisticated house and techno variants, positions his music within the deeper, more refined spectrum of contemporary house music.
