Mind Over Midi was the electronic music project of Helge Tømmervåg, a Norwegian producer from Kristiansund who operated under this alias from 2014 until his death in August 2023. Born in 1961, Tømmervåg began releasing electronic music in March 2014 and maintained a steady output across a decade-long career that spanned dub techno, ambient, and driving techno productions.

His sound centered on dub techno and ambient compositions, with releases distributed through Beatservice Records and Something Happening Somewhere. Mind Over Midi's productions leaned toward the deeper, more atmospheric end of the techno spectrum, incorporating ambient dub elements that created spacious, meditative tracks suitable for both contemplative listening and dancefloor moments that required subtlety over aggression.
