About
Modern Tales is a duo comprising Jonas Rathsman and Franz Novotny. The group began releasing music in June 2024, with their first release appearing on Size Records. Over eighteen months, they have delivered eight releases across multiple labels including Rose Avenue, and have achieved recognition on Beatport's Top 100 chart.
The duo produces melodic house and techno alongside house and Afro house tracks, creating music that spans both underground and more accessible dance floor territories. Their releases on Size Records and Rose Avenue demonstrate versatility across tempo ranges typical of modern house music, from deeper melodic cuts to more driving techno-influenced productions. Modern Tales' output maintains consistent momentum with their most recent release scheduled for December 2025, indicating active production and label support within the contemporary house and techno scene.
