Mohn (NL)

Mohn is the moniker of Dutch DJ and producer Menno Hornman, based in Oss, Netherlands. He began releasing music in 2015 with his debut on SOSO and has maintained a steady output of seven releases over the past decade. Hornman operates under his real name as an alias alongside the Mohn project.

Mohn's sound spans deep house, melodic house & techno, and progressive house, with occasional forays into peak time driving techno. He has released music on respected labels including Einmusika Recordings, Click Records, Manual Music, and Voltaire Music, in addition to his original home at SOSO. His productions typically favor melodic, driving arrangements that work across both deeper and more energetic dancefloor contexts. The project has evolved from primarily deep house origins toward incorporating more techno elements while maintaining melodic sensibilities throughout his discography.
