About

Move D is the project of German electronic musician David Moufang, who originates from Heidelberg and began his career in 1966. From 1992 to 2005, Moufang ran Source Records alongside fellow producer Jonah Sharp, establishing himself as a central figure in Germany's electronic music scene. He operates under several aliases including Dan Jordan and Liquid Sweet Dreams, while collaborating in numerous projects such as Deep Space Network with Jonas Grossmann, Magic Mountain High with Gal Aner and Jordan Czamanski, and Reagenz with Spacetime Continuum's Jonah Sharp.

Move D's sound spans deep house, techno, and electronica territories, with releases appearing on respected labels including Source Records, Smallville Records, AWAY, Smile For A While, and International Deejay Gigolo Records. His productions range from peak-time driving techno to downtempo electronica, demonstrating a versatility that has sustained his output since his first Electrobuzz-tracked release in 2011. The depth of his catalog, encompassing both dancefloor-focused house tracks and more experimental downtempo material, positions him as an artist capable of delivering both club functionality and home listening experiences across multiple electronic music contexts.
