MpeG

MpeG is the project of Gaudenz Strauss, a DJ and producer based in Stuttgart, Germany. He began releasing music in February 2023 and has since built a catalog of 13 releases across multiple respected electronic music labels. His output spans releases on Permanent Vacation, Semi Delicious, R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings, Slump Recordings, and Haŵs.

MpeG produces deep house and indie dance tracks that incorporate elements from minimal/deep tech, breaks, and UK bass influences. His releases maintain a consistent deep house foundation while exploring different electronic subgenres, ranging from the more stripped-back minimal approach to higher-energy breakbeat-influenced productions. The music works across both peak-time dance floor moments and more introspective listening sessions, with releases on labels like Permanent Vacation positioning him within the contemporary European house scene.
