MRD is the alias of Kent Tonning, a techno producer from Oslo, Norway who began releasing music in February 2020. He also produces under the aliases Autolaser and Kent Tonning, with nine releases documented across his primary MRD project since his debut.
His sound spans peak time and driving techno alongside deep house, indie dance, and minimal deep tech productions. MRD has released on notable labels including ARTS, Mad Decent, Turbo Recordings, NALI, and Live From Earth Klub, with his catalog ranging from raw and hypnotic techno to more accessible crossover material.
