Mumdance

Mumdance is Jack Adams, a DJ and producer from London who began releasing music in 2015. Adams operates under the Mumdance moniker and runs his own MD Dubs label alongside releasing material on Tectonic. His first documented release appeared in March 2015, with output continuing through 2025.

Mumdance crafts a hybrid sound that merges grime with peak time techno, dubstep, and experimental sound design elements. His releases on MD Dubs and Tectonic span driving techno productions alongside more downtempo electronica and dance-oriented material. The music draws from hardcore influences while maintaining the rhythmic foundation of UK grime, creating tracks that work across both underground techno sets and bass music contexts. Adams' approach incorporates experimental sound design techniques that add textural complexity to otherwise club-focused arrangements.
