About
Munk is the solo project of Mathias Modica, founder of the Gomma label. The project previously operated as a duo consisting of Modica and Jonas Imbery before transitioning to Modica's solo endeavor. Under various aliases including Leroy Hanghofer, Low Daddies, and Ilk Steigner, Modica has maintained an active release schedule since 2014, with 16 releases documented on the Electrobuzz database.
Munk's sound spans house, deep house, nu disco, indie dance, and melodic house & techno territories. The project releases on established labels including Toy Tonics, Local Talk, Correspondant, Gomma, and Deepalma.
