Nachtbraker

Nachtbraker is the alias of Amsterdam producer Maurits Verwoerd, who launched his electronic music career in 2011. The Dutch artist co-founded Quartet Series, operating both as a performer and label owner from his home base in the Netherlands. Since his debut release in October 2011, Verwoerd has maintained consistent output under the Nachtbraker moniker, with his most recent material appearing in March 2023.

His productions center on deep house and minimal deep tech, delivering 18 releases across notable labels including Heist Recordings, Dirt Crew Recordings, and Aus Music alongside his own Nachtbraker imprint. The Amsterdam producer's sound operates in the deeper spectrum of house music, favoring restrained arrangements and subtle percussive elements typical of the minimal tech aesthetic. His catalog spans over a decade of releases, demonstrating sustained focus on groove-oriented productions that sit comfortably in extended DJ sets requiring sustained energy without aggressive peaks.
