About

Nadia Ali, born August 3, 1980 in Tripoli, Libya, is a Pakistani-American singer-songwriter who first gained recognition as part of the group iiO with club hits "Rapture" and "At The End." She launched her solo career in 2005 and has been producing electronic music under the alias Hylls. Since March 2024, Ali has released eight tracks on Electrobuzz, marking her recent return to active production.

Ali's current sound spans melodic house & techno, progressive house, and UK garage/bassline, with releases appearing on Armada Music and its Albums imprint as well as When Stars Align. Her tracks blend house fundamentals with trance-influenced melodies, drawing from her background in club hits like "Love Story," "Pressure," and "Must Be The Love." The melodic house & techno productions demonstrate a shift toward deeper, more driving sounds while maintaining the vocal-centric approach that defined her earlier progressive house work.
