Narciss

Narciss is the alias of Nicolas Schmidt, a German DJ and producer based in Berlin. Schmidt began releasing music under the Narciss moniker in August 2020, accumulating 13 releases across five years of activity in the electronic music scene.

Narciss produces peak time and driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations of the genre, incorporating elements of indie dance, house, and classic electro into his productions. His releases appear on respected labels including Lobster Theremin, Running Back, 1Ø PILLS MATE, Selected (Berlin), and Live From Earth Klub. Schmidt's output spans high-energy peak time tracks suitable for main room sets as well as deeper, more hypnotic material that works in intimate club environments. His sound draws from Detroit electro influences while maintaining the driving characteristics essential to contemporary Berlin techno.
