Ness

Andrea Deplano, known as Ness, is an Italian techno producer from Sardinia who began releasing music in 2011. He opened a record store in his hometown in 2007 and founded his first label Mono Records in 2009. Deplano co-founded The Gods Planet with Claudio Porceddu in 2010, becoming the sole owner in September 2019. He also releases under the alias L-3P and has maintained a consistent output with 33 releases spanning over a decade.

Ness produces techno ranging from raw and hypnotic to peak time driving material, alongside electronica and dub techno. His releases appear on labels including The Gods Planet, Informa Records, Dynamic Reflection, Planet Rhythm, and A_Files. His sound encompasses deep techno and ambient soundscapes, moving between contemplative dub techno textures and more driving peak time material. The breadth of his catalog demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges, from downtempo electronica to harder-edged raw techno suitable for late-night dancefloors.
