Newball

Newball is a Colombian pianist, arranger, producer and music director from San Andrés who began releasing electronic music in 2019. His debut release appeared on Distance Music in May 2019, marking his transition into the electronic music scene from his background as a pianist and music director.

Newball produces tech house and techno across multiple tempo ranges, from minimal deep tech to peak time driving techno. His releases span 2Drop Records, Distance Music, Kubbo Records, and Tears, showcasing a sound that moves between melodic house and techno territories and stripped-back minimal approaches. His production style incorporates his musical arrangement background into club-focused tracks that work across different points in a DJ set, from warm-up deep tech to peak time techno moments.
