Nick Curly

Nick Curly, born Nico Döhringer, is a German DJ and producer from Mannheim who began his career at age fifteen spinning at Vibration Club. He became a resident at The Soho Club and Cocoon Club's "Envy-My Music" events, establishing himself in Germany's underground scene. Curly runs 8bit Records and has been involved with Cécille Records, with his first documented release appearing in November 2009.

His sound spans tech house and deep house with forays into peak time techno and melodic house & techno. Curly releases on respected labels including 8bit, Knee Deep In Sound, Truesoul, RADIANT., and Defected, accumulating over 100 releases since 2009. His productions typically feature driving basslines and hypnotic grooves that work across different points in a DJ set, from warm-up deep house cuts to peak time tech house weapons. His most recent release dropped in May 2024, demonstrating his continued presence in the global house and techno circuit.
