About
Niev is the electronic music project of Steven Nason, an English keyboardist born February 19, 1958 in London. Operating under multiple aliases including Steve Hart, Maurice Worm, and Norman Brain, Nason has transitioned into electronic music production with his first niev release appearing in March 2025 on Nein Records.
His sound spans indie dance, house, and deep house territories, with releases distributed across Nein Records, Duro, and DSRPTV Records. The niev project incorporates afro house elements alongside dance-pop sensibilities, delivering six releases between March 2025 and February 2026. His productions blend deeper house grooves with accessible indie dance arrangements, positioning the material for both underground floors and more commercial dance settings.
